Description

As I was driving in the Wicklow Mountains, a rain shower accompanied by heavy mist took over the landscape and reduced visibility. And, as quickly as it started, it stopped.

The sun made its appearance. At first it illuminated the back of the mountains in the distance and then spread to the purple heather.

A magical coat of light dusted the land and made it glisten. Its true colour was revealed.

This painting is a memory of that glorious day.
