   I love the way this painting captures a moment in nature as the movement of the bird is echoed in the grasses. The mauve colour is beautiful.

     Thanks Chris for your comment, yes the movement is all heading away from the house on the right even the clouds

   Yes John, I hadn’t made that connection but it is really effective and seems to evoke a sense of departure and leaving home.
