I think the expression ‘White Horses’ is beautifully poetic. It describes the white foam
that appears as waves break at sea, normally when a gale is blowing off the west coast
of Ireland during the winter months.It’s wild and bleak, but for all that, there is an elemental force that makes us feel connected to nature in all its power.What do you think?

This is a painting full of drama which I think this may be due to a strong sense of movement. It feels almost as if the deep blue sea might engulf me! It is really powerful.
Thank you Chris for your comment, I was getting a little bit sea sick painting it. All joking aside I think the blues work really well in this piece, I am enjoying making these sea peces
