This is so cleverly constructed that I have a real sense of looking down through clouds which are expressed so freely. Fantastic.
Thank you Chris, i am glad you felt the sensation of looking down through the clouds.
I have been at the top of a Scottish mountain (small one) and remember the view of thin wispy vapours of cloud. They move quite fast and as they do so colour shows through in an ever-changing scene; a sense of movement which has been captured in this painting.
