The veil of rain falls slowly and silently on sea and land. As it moves across the sun, the filtered light casts a pale yellow-green tinge in the sky.
The weather can change in an instant.
Soon the sun will shine through again and make everything glisten until the next veil arrives.
There is a delicacy to these ephemeral successive veils that let through a diaphanous light.
That’s why they are worth capturing in paint.
