I started this painting a few days ago and it’s only this morning that I found a way in. I saw pink reflections of light on water.
This piece has a brighter and warmer feel than the previous one in the series.
As an amalgam of memories and imagination, in what measure I am not to sure, this painting is infused with an overall pink/violet glow.

This may be my favorite of the series, John. The light and colors are breathtaking against the brooding dark masses of land. And I like the way a few of the clouds, particularly at the edges of the frame, pick up that darkness.

It was a pleasure to receive a picture of this lovely painting infused with such warm colour and dark shadows. The sky is magnificent and full of interesting subtle light effects, especially the sun penetrating in the top right. I don’t know how you do it but the effect is beautiful!
