Description

You'll find Sally Gap in county Wicklow about an hour away from Dublin. Once you've reached the place, you are standing on a plateau of open bogland that seems remote and exudes its own atmosphere.

In this painting, I was interested in exploring the way the evening light catches the top of the cloud, a large cumulus that blocks the horizon light.

Where does the sky start and land finish?

Your guess is as good as mine.
